Vigna Nanthakumar
Economist
Vigna joined CEPA as an Economist in October 2025, coming from the UK Civil Service. He has primarily worked in the Energy and Telecoms practice. Vigna holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bristol.
Vigna Nanthakumar is an economist at CEPA. Since joining the firm, he has gained experience in the Energy and Global Health sectors, working on a range of modelling and cost assessment projects. Previously, Vigna worked as an Assistant Economist at the Office for National Statistics. His work was mainly centered around intangible assets and infrastructure, notably producing a novel methodology for valuing digital infrastructure and leading on the integration of Data as an Asset into the System of National Accounts.
Vigna holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, where his dissertation studied how voter turnout responded to governmental and non-governmental violence in Sri Lanka.
