Meera Nair
Economist
Meera joined CEPA as an Economist in 2025 with a strong quantitative skill set. She holds a first-class degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. She brings a background in financial and behavioural economics.
Meera joined CEPA as an Economist in 2025. Since joining, she has worked across the transport and water sectors, contributing to qualitative and quantitative analysis. Her recent projects include supporting the efficiency assessment of a major airport. She has also worked in regulatory finance, contributing to cost of capital analysis for various projects.
Before CEPA, Meera interned at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in the cross-asset trading division, where she built Python scripts to analyse fixed-income instruments and contributed to investment strategy views. She also carried out research as part of the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme (URSS) at Warwick, using neural networks to analyse sustainable shopping behaviour.
Meera holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick with a dissertation focused on sustainable financial economics. She was awarded a merit scholarship under the Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship.
