Joshua Woolnough
Economist
Joshua joined CEPA as an economist at the start of 2022, having completed a year-long industrial placement at an economic consultancy.

Joshua Woolnough joined CEPA as an economist in 2022 and is already contributing to projects, supporting teams accross several of the firm's core areas of practice. Prior to joining CEPA, he completed a year-long industrial placement, working as a research assistant at Oxford Economics. During his placement year Joshua gained valuable experience in economic consulting, where he worked on economic impact studies that estimated firms’ contributions to different economic areas.
Joshua has completed an MSc (Merit) in Economics from University College London (UCL). His academic study included a dissertation that analysed the impact of industrial robot adoption on the UK labour market. Prior to this, Joshua studied at Loughborough University, gaining a BSc (First Class) in Economics. During the course of his studies, Joshua has gained a detailed understanding of health and labour economics, policy analysis, as well as experience of econometric techniques primarily using STATA and Microsoft Excel.
