Freya joined CEPA as an Economist in 2022. Previously, she studied at the University of Southampton, completing both an MSc and a BSc (First Class) in Economics.

Freya Brown joined CEPA as an Economist in October 2022. She studied at the University of Southampton, completing both an MSc Economics and a BSc (First Class) Economics. Her MSc dissertation examined the relationship between macroeconomic fluctuations and health. Freya completed modules in areas including health economics and labour economics, which provided opportunities to critically examine established methodologies and develop novel approaches to problem solving. She practiced using econometrics to form policy recommendations, using software including STATA.
Freya also completed a Health Economics summer school with the University of Hamburg, gaining experience of Cost-Effectiveness Analysis and contemporary challenges within the field.
