Financial consultancy for Irish electricity networks Price Review (PR)6
CEPA provided financial advice in support of the electricity networks regulatory control, Price Review (PR)6, in Ireland - covering EirGrid and ESB Networks. CEPA provided estimates of the cost of capital, financeability assessments and development of a financial framework for the asset light system operator. The review of the TSO financial framework involved an assessment of the appropriate EBIT margin to apply and the different layers of compensation that should apply, across revenue collection agent functions, working capital facilities and in relation to the parent company guarantee.
CEPA was responsible for the price control financial models, including assessing the impact of depreciation and stress-testing input assumptions within the project.
