The guidelines are the principle document for communicating to countries and guiding them on the application process and requirements across Gavi’s new and underused vaccines support (NVS), health system strengthening and cold chain equipment and optimisation platform support. CEPA developed a new structure for the suite of documents in 2016 as well re-drafted all documents, focussing on simplifying and developing “operational” documents to better meet the needs of countries as the targeted end-users. Following successful support for the 2016 documents, we were commissioned again to support the development of the 2017 application guidelines and forms. To assist the roll-out of the Application Guidelines and Forms, CEPA developed a set of training modules and communication material, to ensure that countries are fully aware of the updated process and key application requirements.
