Covid-19: Statement for CEPA’s clients & other stakeholders

These are difficult and worrying times due to the spread of Covid-19. However, CEPA’s directors wanted to take this opportunity to assure you that, while our priority is to protect people’s health and welfare, we are confident of the team’s ability to continue to provide the usual, high standards of service that you have come to expect. Having rigorously tested the ability of all our staff members to operate effectively from their homes and in-line with current public health advice, we have now issued guidance for the CEPA team to work remotely where possible.

Given the nature of CEPA’s business operations, this is not a significantly different way of working for our project teams, which often collaborate in cross-functional, multi-national and virtual environments. Every member of staff has up-to-date, company-issued computer hardware, which provides secure access to all CEPA’s cloud-based collaboration, document management, project and communications systems.

As a result of the measures that are in place, little or no disruption to the progress of current projects is expected. However, staff have been advised against all non-essential travel, face to face meetings and attending other events, which may therefore result in the need to change some pre-existing plans. For meetings that are already scheduled to take place at client’s offices, where possible, we will make arrangements to participate by video or telephone conference rather than attend in person.

Please be assured that where plans do need to be adapted, or in the event of illness, the project directors and managers will do whatever they can to minimise the impact of this for all concerned.

If you have any concerns or questions about CEPA’s current operating arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Rodger, head of our communications team, by email: richard.rodger@cepa.co.uk or telephone: +44 (0)7900 801 316.

We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time for everyone.

Best wishes,

The CEPA directors
