Anna Vilkuna joined CEPA as an economist in October 2022. Her previous experience includes internships at the Fraser of Allander Institute in Glasgow, Scotland and at the European Commission Representation in Helsinki, Finland. As part of the internship at the Fraser of Allander Institute, Anna reviewed literature on the impacts of infrastructure investment on economic growth and urban population dynamics for the Glasgow City Council.

Anna holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Glasgow. Her studies included a dissertation that analysed the social and environmental impact of foreign direct investment with a focus on differences between industrial sectors. During her studies, Anna specialised in public and development economics and gained experience of econometric techniques and STATA.
