Unitaid long-acting HIV drugs modelling support

Unitaid commissioned CEPA to develop a model to quantify the potential uptake and impact of long-acting drugs for anti-retroviral treatment of HIV. The aim was to explore dependencies around the role which different long-acting formulations in development could play in the global HIV response. The model was presented to stakeholders including WHO, Global Fund, the Medicines Patent Pool, the Clinton Health Access Initiative and Unitaid grantees at session of Unitaid’s Long-Acting Project Advisory Group.
