Greenlink Interconnector application

Ireland EnglandIreland's Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) has today published a consultation paper on an application for an interconnector between Ireland and Great Britain, called Greenlink. The Greenlink interconnector is one of two proposed interconnectors to Ireland that have been designated Projects of Common Interest by the EU. CEPA has been advising CRU on its assessment of the proposed interconnectors, including assessing their impacts on the Irish energy system and considering different regulatory treatments that could be applied to the interconnectors.
