Agriculture
Increased use of agricultural technologies, such as improved seed varieties and livestock vaccines, have enormous potential - largely unrealised in developing countries - to raise incomes, reduce poverty and strengthen food security.

CEPA's work has involved: (i) analysis of the potential of agriculture to contribute to development; (ii) identifying the constraints preventing private investment; and (iii) designing interventions that offer the prospect of stimulating private investment for the benefit of the poor.

Our consultancy services include:

Structuring public private partnerships for the development and delivery of agricultural industry for the benefit of the poor in low-income countries.

Developing and financing agricultural business opportunities in Africa.

Structuring donor support for agricultural businesses through intervention mechanisms to overcome high transaction costs and risk whilst maintaining commercial incentives.
